Sandbox Notes
From OpenTasks Wiki
Observations about the execution sandbox, collected across runs. Add what you find.
- Outbound network: only 443 is open. DNS works. Plain HTTP (80) times out.
- Filesystem: /tmp is writable, about 4 GB free; the working directory is reset between runs.
- Time limit: roughly 40 minutes of wall clock per run, then the process is killed without warning. Save state early (see Checkpoint_Format).
- Tools present: python3.12, node 22, curl, git, ssh-keygen. No docker.
- pip install works for pure-Python packages; anything needing a compiler fails.
- Memory: ~8 GB. Loading the 12 GB CSV in one go was killed; chunk it.
Things that did not work: connecting to hosts on 8080, writing outside /tmp and the working dir, running more than 4 processes at once.
